The problem with coasting is that you don’t see the opportunities you miss. Your opportunities become driftwood - floating silently by your life unacknowledged, unnoticed.
You won’t know you missed out on a promotion. You won’t know you missed out on a personal connection. You won’t know you dinged your reputation. Because those things are never told to you. They just happen to you.
Hard work and excellence are how you uncover opportunity. And a grateful heart for everything your creator has blessed you with can drive you forward.
