Get Connected at Renewal
At Renewal we are passionate about coming alongside you to help you grow in your relationship with God and connect in meaningful relationships with others. God wants you to grow and he made you for relationships. For so many people, Community Groups are where that growth and connection has happened.
Community Groups run on a semester basis, and signups open in January, May, and September. Our next group semester begins on October 7.
In the meantime, a great way to get involved is by serving on a ministry team or participating in any of our Renewal events
If you need more info, check out our FAQs below.
+ What is a community group?
Community Groups are Renewals groups of 10 to 15 people that meet in convenient locations all across Boston to learn more about the Bible, grow in their faith, and meet some great new friends.
+ Is there a group that’s right for me?
Since there are a variety of groups, you’ll have the chance to share your life experiences with others who have similar ones.
+ Do I need to buy a book or study guide?
Yes. You can find the link to purchase on our website and the leaders will also send you a link. If you need help purchasing the book just let us know and we will help.
+ What happens when I sign up?
When you sign up, the leader of your new Community Group will contact you with the address of the Group’s meeting place, the date and time you’ll be starting on, and all the other information you’ll need to have a great experience.
+ When will my group meet?
Community Groups meet once a week, and each meeting is just sixty to ninety minutes long. Groups meet for ten to twelve times over the semester. It’s a short-term commitment but the positive impact on your life will be long-term.
+ What will the people in my group be like?
Community Groups are made up of the same people that attend a Renewal worship service. You’ll most likely see a few people that you have seen on Sunday as well as some people that you’re meeting for the first time. It’s a great way to get to know other people outside of a Sunday service.
+ Can I invite others?
Invite as many friends, co-workers, neighbors, family, etc. that aren’t connected to another church. Community Groups are designed to get people connected to our church and to develop friendships with one another. The more people, the better.
