Next Steps is an interactive experience that happens over the course of 3 weeks at Renewal. At the end, you’ll have the choice to try out a community group with a few people you connect with. Next Steps runs often throughout the year.

In Step 1, you’ll hear Pastor Jared’s story and the story of Renewal. This will help you connect to the most important thing - your story of new life in Christ!

New Purpose
You were made for a purpose! Discover how God has shaped your unique personality and experiences to make an eternity shaping difference.
STEP 3
New Family
This week learn how to make church feel like “my family away from family.” The relationships you form will help you grow spiritually in a new way. If you desire to join the church as a member, you’ll have an opportunity during session 3.

+ How much of a time commitment is next steps?
We've designed it to be as streamlined as possible. We know the weekends are precious times, but we believe this time investment will pay dividends, helping you connect to God and to others in the community.
There are 3 sessions in Next Steps. Each session is held on a different Sunday and is about 60 minutes long. Sessions are held on Sunday afternoons right after the 10:30 service. In person gatherings are about 60 minutes long
If you are concerned about the time committment of attending service AND going to Next Steps, we would encourage you to go to Next Steps and skip the Sunday services for a few weeks. We would of course prefer you to come to both, but if this is a deal breaker, we would rather you go to Next Steps - that's how much we believe that this will impact your life!

When you sign up for Next Steps, you will receive an email with more instructions and information. We will reach out to you a few times over the course of the next few weeks with information you'll need.
+ I've been going to Renewal for a while. Should I still go to Next Steps?
If you have been going for Renewal for a while you can still go to Next Steps! Next Steps will help you connect more deeply to God, to Renewal, and to community, so regardless of when you started coming to Renewal, you will be welcome at Next Steps!
+ Do I need to take each step in order? Also, what if I miss a week?
You do not need to take Next Steps in order. (The content may make more sense if you do, but it is not required!)
Because we offer Next Steps multiple times throughout the year, you can make up any weeks you missed the next time we offer the steps you need to complete. This allows you to jump in any time and not delay going to Next Steps if you can't make consecutive weeks.
+ Will I still be welcome at Renewal if I don't go to next steps?
Of course! While we would love for you to come to Next Steps, becasause it will help you grow and find community, we understand that everyone is at a different place in their faith journey.
+ Can I go to Next Steps if I'm still exploring or skeptical of faith?
Yes, you can come! You are welcome at Renewal and at Next Steps regardless of where you are on your faith journey. If you are still exploring or skeptical, Next Steps will still be a great step for you. You will get to learn more about the Christian faith and what this looks like practically in the lives of Christians and the church. You will also have fun and meet a bunch of great people!
